Fingerless Lace GlovesMaking myself a pair of these fingerless mitts is an important project for me. My hands are always cold, especially in the winter. These will definitely help to keep my hands warm while allowing my fingers free movement. And they look fabulous, too!
Knit Picks Andean Silk Yarn, color still undecided. This yarn is so incredibly soft! It is not the least bit rough. The KnitPicks.com website says that this yarn is soft enough to be against a baby's skin, and I believe it. I can't wait to get these mitts made, not only to wear something made of this wonderfully soft yarn, but also to warm up my hands. They're always icy cold!
I'm going to be working with a pattern from KnitPicks.com to make this project. The pattern is only $1.99 US, not bad! Here's a link to the pattern at
KnitPicks.com, in case you want to buy the pattern and make a pair of these, too.
